Thanksgiving in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The resort we stayed at had a water park, and 50 degree weather was not going to deter Ashleigh from riding the outdoor water slide. There were actually about half a dozen kids doing the same things. At least the pool was heated to a nice 85 degrees.

We found these really cool sleighs at a local town center.

Our two little angels.

Ashleigh's School Thanksgiving Feast

"Purring Kitten"
Alyssa couldn't help but to get in on the action.

Ashleigh's class.

Tawni less 12+" of hair...

Yippeee!!! I love it, and yes, I donated it.

Halloween Festivities

Ashleigh dressed as a ballerina for her first Halloween school dance.

Ashleigh with one of her "best friends"/classmate, Alex.

Alyssa in her Dumbo outfit. Too cute, if I do say so myself!

Couldn't not let everyone see her cute elephant tail.

Alyssa at her Halloween playgroup party.

Mommy made cream cheese sandwich fingers with strawberry jelly. I forgot the age group I was serving them to (5 and under) would be to scared to eat them. Oh well, it was funny watching the kids be freaked out by them.

Having fun decorating goody bags for their treats.

The girls "helping" me carve the pumpkin.

I was so very proud of my non-stenciled pumpkin. Just a sharpee and a sharp knife.

Dumbo and Tinker Bell.

Her first house, and only time she said "Trick or Treat".

"Look Mama!!! He give me candy for my bag!"

The girls with some of their neighborhood friends.

Chick-fil-A Dodge Ball Tournament

Our team: The Red Hot Mamas!!!
(All but one of us are moms.)

Here we go....

Me in action.

After about 15 games, some of the girls decided to have a little fun. Cartwheels on the court. Our opponents (all teenage boys) gave them a hand and had a good laugh.

My crazy girlfriend, Vanessa, who talked me into doing this tournament. I'm not going to lie, it was fun even though we didn't win one single game.

Ashleigh's 1st day of Kindergarten.

Ashleigh with one of her neighbor friends, Kelly. They're both in Kindergarten, but in different classes. They were both so excited!

Photo op for all the kids at the bus stop.
Ashleigh cheerfully saying good-bye to her little sister.

Ashleigh hopping on the bus while her friend comforts her friend who isn't looking forward to his first day.

Ashleigh saying "I love you, Mama!", and giving me kisses on the window. Everyone aaawed. My sweet girl. :o)

She had a great first day. :o)
